When we got there the staff were friendly and helped us sort out a room even though we had no reservation, unexpected and a relief. The breakfast they provided was surprisingly good and really hit the spot for the family.

It wasn't cheap but still acceptable for what we got in return.

The hotel was an excellent place for enjoying a nice area, just next door to the casino, Eagle Pass and TEXAS. The rooms of our place were brand-new and neat with king bed. Everything was awesome, we appreciated that. The service was great, including a very quick check-in.

Loved central heating, TV and a microwave in the room.

Consider bringing your own bottled water, as it's not readily available in the hotel.

It's not all bad, but it's not all good

The staff provided friendly and considerate service . The cleanliness and organization of the common areas were also notable positives.

The breakfast variety was lacking, with mainly cold options like bagels and fruit. I encountered issues with low water pressure in the shower.

Upon arrival, I discovered that the air conditioner in our room was not functioning properly, and the overall smell was unpleasant. I reached out to the front desk just 20 minutes after checking in to request a room change, but I was denied because they claimed all rooms were booked, which I found hard to accept given that not all guests had checked in yet. The vending machine sold me an expired honey bun and dispensed the wrong soda flavor, leaving me frustrated.

The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, although the bathroom could use some updates. A pleasant experience while exploring a bit of Americana!

during my stay, I appreciated how close the hotel was to the Maverick County Lake, perfect for a peaceful stroll, and the friendly service staff made my visit more fun, everything was in good order.

Clean common areas that are easy to navigate. The location is close to a casino and just a short drive from the border, perfect for quick excursions.

No drinking water available in the rooms, odd given the price. Vending machines were all out of water, leaving options limited. I noticed some furniture shows wear. A bit of replacement work wouldn't go amiss. Breakfast lacks variety, which might be a concern if you're looking for more substantial options, even though a great diner is right next door for alternatives.

So, I stayed in a Queen Room with Two Queen Beds for two nights. The beds were comfy enough which was a plus. The room was a decent size, but the bathroom setup was kinda weird with limited counter space for your stuff. Everything seemed pretty clean at first but I did find some dust in corners that could've used a wipe down. The breakfast was basic but okay. Not bad, just a few things could use some touch-ups.
